This seminar is designed to offer organizing strategies to start your downsizing efforts. Establish your project priorities, learn what supplies you might need, and set realistic time constraints. Leave with an action plan. Jill Braceland has been successfully delivering seminars in organizing and writing topics to adult ed programs in the local area. Her seminars have a reputation of being interactive and practical, and are presented in an easy, friendly manner.

In the first live online class, we'll start by learning camera settings, aperture, shutter, ISO, white balance and other compositional techniques critical to lighthouse photography. The following Saturday, during the Cruise, we’ll focus on photographing the wildlife and lighthouses, sharing techniques and approaches. Finally, we’ll meet online the following week to share, learn and critique our images. Limited to 15 students. This workshop is for beginner and intermediate photographers.

Bring in your favorite collection and transform them into earrings, pendants, or even rings. We'll show many examples of what you can create with your drilled treasures. No experience is required, and all materials and supplies are provided. Join us and make unique pieces from your summer finds!

Children’s Behavioral Health Services are vital to Maine’s children with Intellectual Disabilities, Autism and Mental Health Disorders and their families. And the need in our area is great! As an integral part of the child’s treatment team, a Certified Behavioral Health Professional (BHP) has the opportunity to make an immediate impact while helping a child grow and develop to their full potential. We are excited to connect our community with this wonderful blended training and certificate program. This training will prepare you for employment through local social services agencies and equip you to work with children who qualify for services. The program can be started at any time and finished at your own pace. Learners must complete all 12 online modules to be eligible to attend the Live Day on Friday Oct 11th from 8:30-4:40pm. Once the modules are completed, you will receive free online bloodborne pathogen training. Child and Adult First Aid & CPR certification is required. In just 40 hours, our free remote training program can get you certified and on your way to a life-changing profession. Must be a Maine resident, and at least 18 years old with a high school diploma (or equivalent) to become certified.
