The Heart-Brain Connection

with Carole Freeman

Calendar Next available session starts Jan 18, 2022 at 6 pm, runs for 1 week

Science has found that the heart has actual brain cells of its own and connects with the brain in 4 ways, neurologically (through nerve impulses), biochemically (through hormones), biophysically (through pressure waves), and energetically (through electromagnetic field interactions). The heart has such a significant influence on our brain and whole health, a new discipline called neurocardiology has emerged. In this class, we will harness this new science and practice the same tools and techniques of HeartMath Solution used in a study of employees at a California State agency. In that study, participants “experienced significant reductions in stress, negative emotions, and fatigue; increased peacefulness and vitality.”
