Enjoy a better appreciation of your body's potential as the awakening dragon, the swimming dragon, the soaring dragon, and the drunken dragon show you how to move with greater ease. The only prerequisite is an open mind and heart.

Based on the principles of the Feldenkrais Method, this class provides you the opportunity to use easy, gentle movement explorations, guided by verbal instructions, to connect with and be present to your body and yourself. Your attention will be directed to noticing physical sensations, physical and belief limitations, and habitual behaviors. The work will be done largely on the floor; so bring a mat. You may benefit from greater comfort/ pleasure in your body, increased flexibility, and improved balance.

This is a blended online/in-person course taught by Lighthouse Health and Safety. The online portion must be completed before the skill session. This course, which meets OSHA/workplace requirements, will prepare you to recognize and care for a variety of first aid, breathing, and cardiac emergencies involving adults, children, and infants. 

Students who successfully complete this course will receive an American Red Cross certificate for Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED valid for two years. 

Once you register you will receive a link/login information to access the online portion of the class. There is a 6-person minimum to run the class. If we do not meet that minimum you can move to another class date.
