Stephanie Eklund, a former and long-standing advocate for victims of domestic violence, joined A Family for ME as a foster/adoptive parent recruiter in Southern Maine. Stephanie brings with her a wealth of knowledge regarding recruitment, collaborative efforts with community members, public speaking and training, volunteer engagement, and helping people in need. In her personal time, Stephanie enjoys reading, working out, traveling, and spending time with her family.

Spending more time with your teen due to the current situation? Make this found fun, rewarding and productive! This dialogue-centered series provides a teen culture crash course, generation-specific narrative, and communication brainstorming, all led by a current college student and Gen Z-centered author. Register to get the link for the livestream session. Michaela Flanders is a junior at Mount Holyoke College, where she majors in Bioethics and Psychology. She is also a Marshwood High School graduate. Michaela is the author of "Sitting in A Circle: Gen Z Feminism and The Spirit", due for release in June 2021 from The Pilgrim Press, as well as a student birth doula with DONA International. She has led and listened to her fellow young adults in a range of capacities for the last six years through her work as a dance teacher, mentor, campus president, and policymaker. She presented a similar version of this workshop in the local and national settings in the summer of 2019.
