English language learners who can add this class to English for Life if they want to further improve their vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, fluency, listening, speaking, and reading skills in real world situations. You can choose from the following topics:

ELL221:Career Skills for Intermediate/Advanced (PM)
English language learners who want to improve basic speaking, listening, reading and writing skills. We will work on vocabulary, pronunciation, comprehension, and conversation. Classes will include field trips to practice English in community settings. All students must meet with Soni Reese at 207-363-7922 for assessment and registration.

Tuesday is a great day for making change! A support group for people ages 13 and up committed to or considering making a change with their substance use. It’s free, confidential, and there is no sign up. Just show up at the York Public Library. Free pizza too! Making Change is not treatment or therapy. Making Change is a one hour, weekly support group that encourages honesty, promotes self-awareness, and inspires positive change. This training is sponsored by a partnership between YACE and Choose to be Healthy Coalition of York Hospital. Pizza donated by Anthony’s, York House of Pizza, and Ruby’s. Thank you for your support! This comprehensive assessment will let you know if you have the computer skills needed to be successful in school, work and at home. After testing, if you need to improve your skills, we can help you design a learning plan, either with a class or with personalized online lessons you can do from your own home! Indoor Walking Trails and Fitness Stations
Come in from the cold and walk around the Middle School. Choose “trails” with stairs or without. Fitness stations around the building will help build muscle tone while you walk the trails.
