Make you own driftwood Christmas tree! Join driftwood artist Cherie Herne and her assistant Salty Gals for this special evening of creativity and fun. We’ll supply instruction and everything you’ll need to create a tabletop driftwood tree including driftwood branches, a driftwood stand, a steel pole, supplies to make a starfish or sea glass angel topper and lots of inspiration! Registration includes all supplies.

Drilling Stone and Sea Glass

Learn to drill holes in beach stones or seaglass and then line the hole with a sterling tube rivet. Create your masterpiece in sterling silver with a stone/glass riveted on top. Bring your collection and as time allows students will be able to drill and create beads and charms that they can attach to chains or wires. No experience necessary.

English Smocking - Ornament

Learn the basic stitches and techniques of hand smocking with creating a beautiful heirloom ornament. A complete kit will be provided in colorful solid or tartan plaid. Linda Monagle is the former shop owner/instructor at The Smock Exchange, Danvers/Hamilton, MA and FLOSSIE in Essex, MA. Linda has been smocking and teaching classes for over 35 years to adults and children. Linda also volunteered for many years in Coolidge Hall at the Topsfield Fair, as chairperson of the Smocking, Heirloom Sewing and Sewing Departments.
