Have you ever wondered how computers work? Do they seem like magic? If you would like to know more about these devices, in 2 hours Norm will show you the basics in plain English. He will take you from the history and evolution of these devices to the internal components inside of them. He will also demonstrate some basics of how humans can program them to productively perform work for us and demonstrate how we can write programs to remotely control robots and other devices. If time permits, Norm will demonstrate some of the software his students have developed over the past 30 years.

This class will begin with an overview of basic estate planning, including Wills, Powers of Attorney, Health Care Directives, etc.
The class will then delve into, learning how revocable trusts can help avoid probate and protect your privacy, and how irrevocable trusts can protect your assets from nursing home or Maine Care (Medicaid) liens. Discussion will include other strategies to safeguard assets from life events such as business failure or divorce of adult children.
