Light Wave Therapy

What is it and how it can help minimize and manage the aging process. After years of wearing sun block, now you say light waves are beneficial. What’s up? It’s true, and it’s one of the most interesting developments in skin care. Learn how harmless red, infra-red and blue lights light waves can boost your skin’s health. Each student will have an opportunity to have a brief Light Therapy Facial.
Maine Driving Dynamics
with Bureau of Highway Safety Instructor
This two-class, five hour course offers all drivers the opportunity to improve their defensive driving abilities. The course includes attitudes and the basic elements that constantly challenge drivers on Maine’s highways. The course is taught by a certified Maine Driving Dynamics instructor. The course format engages students with lectures, videos, and class discussion/participation. Those completing the course will receive a three-point credit on their driving records. It is important that you arrive at class on time, otherwise you will not receive credit.

A support group for people ages 13 and up committed to or considering making a change with their substance use. It’s free, confidential, and there is no sign up. Just show up. Free pizza too! Making Change is not treatment or therapy. Making Change is a one hour, weekly support group that encourages honesty, promotes self-awareness, and inspires positive change. This group is sponsored by a partnership between YACE and Choose to be Healthy Coalition of York Hospital. Pizza donated by Anthony’s, York House of Pizza, and Ruby’s. Thank you for your support!
Group meets every week at the Adult Education Classroom at YMS.

In this hands-on course, the student will understand spreadsheet terminology and components. Learn to navigate within worksheets and workbooks. Enter data, manipulate cells and cell ranges, columns and rows, and other practical applications. The class builds on the student’s existing knowledge of their laptop. Bring your own laptop with MS 2007 or higher.
