You will learn: important SSA forms and timelines; the “parts” of Medicare; how and when to apply; plans and general benefits. Alan Minthorn, Owner of Maine Senior Insurance, LLC, is a licensed and certified senior health insurance products broker. He has held licensure since 1991, currently in ME, NH, and FL. He represents many carriers in those states.

Ballroom Dancing (Spring 2018)

Put on your dancing shoes (smooth soled shoes are recommended, leather is ideal) and get ready for some fun. You will learn Waltz, Foxtrot, Rumba, and Swing. Next time you attend a wedding, anniversary or other social event, you will be ready to dance the night away. No experience necessary. Everyone is welcome.

IMPORTANT NOTE: This class is $90 PER COUPLE.  Upon registration, only type in ONE person's name - we will assume you have a partner.  Again, the registration fee covers two people, one couple.

Ready for a new experience or simple refresher? Join us on the floor for a fun introduction to waltz, foxtrot and swing. You'll learn the basics o the big band era dances while enjoying both classic and contemporary ballroom music. no experience is necessary, Smooth soled shoes are recommended.

Beginner Hoop Dance (Spring 2018)

Hoop dance is an exciting and evolving form of artistic movement and dance that will elevate your mood and help keep you fit! Not only does it burn calories while toning your entire body, but it is also a great way to release stress, quiet your mind and get your creative juices flowing! This class will teach students how to hoop on and off the body, transitions between movements, flow, and tricks. It is geared toward students brand new to hooping or for those ready to move beyond the waist. Specially made adult-sized hoops make it possible for everyone to hoop! Jeni is a certified Levels 1,2 Instructor. She has been teaching classes in Hoop Dance since 2010 at various dance, yoga and wellness centers in ME, NH, and MA. She discovered Hoop Dance while working with a top international dance company in Los Angeles. (Hoops will be available to borrow or purchase for $45) Please note the price is $70.00.
