Traveling Sketchbook: Plein Air

The Traveling Sketchbook is for everyone! with minimal supplies you can start this creative adventure. This session will focus on different theme and subject, and bin in a different location. Sketching develops your observing and drawing skills, increases your visual vocabulary, expands your creativity and is very relaxing. We will work with pen or pencil, watercolors/watercolor pencils or colored pencils. This class is perfect for beginners or experienced students who would like to try sketching in plein air. Back by popular demand, this class will prepare you to sing in A Christmas Carol at York Community Auditorium during the first weekend of December. Learn how to project your voice better, to match pitch and sing in correct rhythm, as well as singing in parts. We will dip into your special songs you want to practice as well as having time each class to work on holiday favorites for A Christmas Carol, for our wonderful cameo appearance as well as singing in the hallways before the performances. She has sung professionally as a soloist all over the world, and especially on the East Coast, in opera, choral music, and recitals.
