Youth Mental Health First Aid Certification

Mental Health First Aid is a national best-practice, evidence-based certification course that teaches you how to help someone who is in a mental health crisis. The training helps you identify, understand, and respond to signs of addictions and mental illness. This 8-hour course leads to a 3 year certification issued by the National Council on Behavioral Health. For school staff, you can earn 8 continuing ed credits while meeting the state mandate for suicide awareness training.
