Linda Monagle is the former shop owner/instructor at The Smock Exchange, Danvers/Hamilton, MA and FLOSSIE in Essex, MA. Linda has been smocking and teaching classes for over 35 years to adults and children. Linda also volunteered for many years in Coolidge Hall at the Topsfield Fair, as chairperson of the Smocking, Heirloom Sewing and Sewing Departments.

From Car Singers to Carolers

When you sing in the car, do you imagine that you are singing a solo in church, singing a song for that special someone, rocking karaoke, or harmonizing in a group? Then this class is for you! You will learn vocal techniques, how to use your breath, how to use your face to express your song, and how to choose a song that is right for special occasions and your voice. We’ll have a chance to try out your songs with the group or as solo’s. You will have the option to sing in a production of A Christmas Carol during the first weekend in Dec at the York Community Auditorium.
