Learn and practice techniques to successfully create atmosphere and mood using washes, glazes, texture and detail. Kathryn will guide and encourage you with clear instruction and demonstrations as you enjoy creating your own beautiful paintings. We welcome all levels of experience, especially beginners. All classes are designed to help you build a solid foundational knowledge of the materials, techniques and concepts necessary for artistic advancement and confidence. Materials list available by request. Palette set-up with instructions at first session, if needed. By popular request, we now offer, at our discounted cost, a “Beginner’s Kit,” which includes two palettes (one with paint) two brushes, and professional- grade watercolor paper – cost $60; must be pre-ordered.
Kathryn Carter is an award-winning professional artist with over 30 years of experience with watercolors, oils, acrylics, and pen and ink. Her works are in many private and corporate collections throughout the U.S. and abroad, and have been published in many magazines, books and newspapers.
