Do you already know how to play cribbage and want to play for fun? Do you need to learn how to play cribbage? Want to play or learn to play with partners? Have odd friends and want to play with 3 people? This class is for you! Instruction will be given as needed. Learn offensive and defensive strategies. When class is over you will be ready for our 3rd Annual April Fools Cribbage Tournament on March 30th.

This is an 10-week course designed to enable you to be job-ready in a career in Dental Assisting. According to the Labor Department, there should be more than 91,000 openings for dental assistants up to the year 2020. That amounts to more than 30% employment growth, which is much faster than the average for all professions. The need for so many more dental assistants is easy to cipher: A large aging population intensifies the demand for quality healthcare and qualified practitioners. Our program is designed to teach all the aspects of obtaining employment in the field, helping you to prepare to take national dental exams, perfecting your resume and learning how to find employment in Dental Assisting. After completing our program, you will be provided the opportunity to sit for The Dental Assisting National Board, Inc. (DANB®), Radiation Health and Safety (RHS®). Should a student decide to intern in the field, we will work with the student to obtain those internships. Click here to register.

Driftwood & Sea Glass Wreath

Join local driftwood artist Cherie Herne from Salty Girl and the Long Dog in making a one-of-a-kind driftwood and sea glass wreath. You will be supplied with a sturdy wooden ring with hanger, driftwood sticks and accent pieces, wood glue, epoxy cement, sea glass, a paper template and take-home instructions. Cherie and her Salty assistants will guide you step-by-step in completing your beautiful, Maine driftwood wreath. Registration includes all supplies, and light refreshments

Drilling Stone and Sea Glass Ring

Discover Learn to drill holes in beach stones or seaglass, then line the hole with a sterling tube rivet. Each student will create a silver piece of both a stone/glass riveted on top. Bring your collection and as time allows students will be able to drill and create beads and charms that they can attach to chains or wires. No experience necessary.
